Join WYXR and The Orpheum Theatre for ‘A Freewheelin’ Conversation on Bob Dylan,’ on September 5th, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Memphis Listening Lab. WYXR DJ David Swider, a self-described Dylanologist, will discuss Dylan’s life, his movies, and the upcoming musical ‘Girl From The North Country’ showing at The Orpheum. We’ll be giving away 5 pairs of tickets to Girl From The North Country and other rare Dylan items, and Crosstown Brewing will be providing beverages.

Sid Selvidge's 1969 debut album, "Portrait," on Enterprise Records, is a timeless masterpiece in country blues and folk. Hailing from the Mississippi Delta and deeply tied to Memphis, Selvidge embraced an intimate, uncompromising approach to music. His blend of folk and blues, influenced by 1960s coffeehouse anthems and African-American musical traditions, defines his unique sound.
